If you are looking to improve your handling then it is one step in the process to achieve that goal.
The rear swaybar will increase roll stiffness for balanced handling, improved steering response, elimination of understeer and noticeably improved balance.

To expand on what was said above, As part of a project for handling improvement... yes.
As recommended above use part number 555-1070 for the front bar, and the 555-1073 bar linked above.
I dont know if you have a Brembo brake equipped car or not, if you do the Brembo cars have a bigger rear swaybar than the non-brembo GT, the 555-1073 adjustable rear bar will be an upgrade regardless of which one you have. That is why I recommend it.

It seems to me since the major shortcoming on the 2011 Mustang, in the Mustang - M3 track comparison, was the Mustang's shocks, that going with better adjustable after market shocks as well as Steeda Comp springs and adjustable front and rear sway bars would be the most direct no regrets decision with the 2011-2012 Mustang GT.. Depends on how far you want to take the car. If you are serious about handling the shocks and springs together should always be a priority.
Our normal sport springs and shocks would work just fine, the street/comp springs would be the next level and still capable of daily driving if paired with the adjustable shocks and struts.
Either combo along with front and rear swaybars would be a great handling combination.
