the RPM-specific vibration I feel is no doubt it's own separate issue. It's really not so noticeable to anyone, but myself, to the point where I don't feel it to be a problem.
The vibration I get above 70MPH is an entirely different problem - gaurantee it not to be a tranny issue. The steering shake and slight pull to the left at speed as well (forgot to mention that) is evidence of it being something else than tranny.
I'm going to have a friend get a close look at my bearings and joints, see if anything pops up. Take him for a drive on the highway at speed and let him feel it, see what he thinks.
I definitely know more than one issue is going on right now... Find it so surprising this one incident caused so much. I really don't beat on it at all, drive it like it's made of glass. Thanks for the input though to everyone.

I've spun many times and never had an issue, but it could have accelerated a failure.
If there is steering wheel shake associated with the vibe, in addition to the front wheel bearings, check the tie rods and ends, and also the front LCA ball joints.
If those all check out, it could be a tweaked hub or LCA.

Sounds to me like you may have popped a motor mount. OEM are hydraulic..... may have popped like a big zit! If left side popped it may allow the motor to touch the steering shaft....

Sorry for a lack of update, been really busy. I haven't had time to take it in yet and have it looked over (keep having to do military crap in excess). Although, I did forget to add yet another symptom..
When I'm at idle, occassionally I will hear a faint rattling or knocking (not internal engine knock). I feel as though it may be a motor mount. Also, if I accelerate very hard for the occassional fun, even a slight shift or change in lanes on the road, and it feels like the car's gonna get away from me, very poor handling for just a moment.
After I'm done with some stuff this weekend I will have it in the shop next week, and will post an update.
