as per most of yalls suggestions im planning on getting some ATE super blue. since im switching from DOT 3, do i need more than the 1 litre that it comes with? i know you have to keep flushing to get rid of all the old stuff, i just have no idea how much itll take. thanks!

No, reserve the alcohol flush is for yourself after the job is done. DOT 3 and DOT 4 are fully compatible, so just a regular flush will suffice. It's best to do it twice, spread out over a week or so with a few hard stops in between to engage the ABS, to make sure it's complete.

I believe the system takes about 1.5 pints. That's what the Ford documentation says. I usually open and use a liter of fluid.

ok cool. how big of a deal is it that im racing on friday on a road course? should i wait till after the race to switch them?

It depends on the course and the driver - some are hard on brakes and some are easy on brakes.

We usually use over 1 litre to do a full flush but tend to err on the make sure all of the old fluid is out side.

Ah, that's right, 3 and 4 mix. I am thinking racing fluids and such. Some require an alcohol flush to get ALL the old fluid out since they won't mix.
