Default New Brakes installed yesterday

I have a 2010 GT, the brakes finally were worn sufficiently after several track days, last one being at Sebring.

I did a little research- found out that 11-12 larger rotors fit my year. See this link-
http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ml#post2659337

So I went to the 'Bay, and found NTO's (New take-offs) from Roush

They even sold me some pads from the NTO's as well, Fronts, no rears available.

Price was reasonable. I made one mistake though- I didn't completely read the add, which said 2 of each, and I ordered 2 sets of front/rear rotors, and 2 sets of front calipers, which included the new front caliper brackets. I plan on keeping the extra set of rotors for use with track pads.

Maybe shouldn't list here but I will sell off the extra calipers and brackets for the larger 13.25" rotors. (Paid $75) So I will sell for what I paid plus shipping.

If this gets me in hot water with the Mods, I apologize and will list in the for sale section!

Anyway, the brake work went without any problems, other than screwing in the rear caliper pistons, that was somewhat of a challenge using the "Cube"

I think next time, I'll remount the caliper/brackets without the rotor in place to do this job, maybe will be a little easier not having to hold the caliper while screwing in the piston.

Stock Pads for now.

I plan on Hawk (Think its DTC 70 for the front, and DTC 60 for the rears)

I was thinking of replacing the brake line with S/S, but read somewhere on here that the factory ones are adequate for now. Evidently the materials are much better now than what was used in the past by manufacturers.

I'm looking forward to trying this new combo out on a track day to see how brakes behave, afterall my old rotors were warped, and branking at high speeds was pretty unsettling.

I am just getting ready to pull the trigger on the
13.2" caliper brackets and calipers on the bay for $75 shipped.
I would take them off your hands but not for more than I can
buy them for on eBay.
I have the 13.2" newtakeoff rotors already.
I also didnt read and thougt they were the 12.4 GT
takeoffs and now I have a set of 05-10 GT front caliper brackets
sitting on the wayside some V6er would love to have...
But 13.2" front brakes.
