Default New 2011+ koni sports

I see that there are now 2011+ specific koni sport dampers. I was wondering what all is now needed to get these and steeda sport springs to work together perfectly. Would new upper mounts no longer be necessary? What else would be necessary to have these work perfect? Thanks for any advice.

My understanding is that the strut mounts I'll not need to be changed. However, you!ll still have the cheap stock design mount. I posted a photo recently of my lowered set up with a comparison of the Steeda mount and the original 2011 mount. https://mustangforums.com/forum/s197...installed.html

Default Maximum motorsports CC plates on 2011+ struts

I ordered the 2011+ koni sports from sam strano, and found a person on ebay willing to sell me some 2005+ rears since no where else is in stock. I found maximum motorsports has a 2011+ CC plates but they say :

"Fits
2011+ Mustang: Chassis, strut, and springs.
2005+ chassis.
Both 2005-2010 and 2011+ struts.
2011+ springs. Does not fit 2005-2010 springs, OEM or aftermarket."

http://www.maximummotorsports.com/st...oducts_id=1400

This is extremely confusing and conflits all the other information ive read. I thought 2005+ and 2011+ springs were the same. I thought the strut mounts had to be different. Is maximum motorsports incorrect in their own product description?

I called up maximum motorsports and they said they are editing the description, and that the 2005+ springs should fit fine and that they are editing their website to reflect the correct information.

Thanks for the update on that. I found that bit on the MM website to be a bit confusing as well.
