Man I like the 05 and on Mustang GTs, a proper Muscle Car. I honestly lust after a 98-2000 Corvette C5, particularly one Z51 Suspension. Coupe not convertible. My dilemma is that I have two daugher's, 8 and 11 and a wife. What of two setups would you choose? Care would be mostly daily driver, with some occasional open track / road racing.
A.05-09 Mustang Gt w/, Steeda sport springs, Steeda shocks / struts or Koni SRT shocks / struts, Steeda front back sway bars, panhard bar and plates.
Also, cai and tune, not sure if this is beneficial for track use.
B.98-2000 Corvette with Z51 suspension or aftermarket sway bars and shocks / struts.
How would these compete regarding handling / track use, is the Corvette that much better? Ger.

If you are looking at C5, you need to look 01 or newer. The older ones have an issue with the abs controller, that if it goes out you are sol. You're abs, traction control, and stability control quit working and this part CANNOT be fixed or repaced. (research this if you want too). Some say that none of these are needed, but sometimes they are nice (panic stops).

otherwise they are completely different cars, both look great and go fast.
