Alignment screw up?

Alignment screw up? - NOPE, FIXED...
Last night I noticed a clunking from the right front suspension that sounds exactly how my OEM strut mounts sounded after they failed a short time after I had D-Specs installed. I have since had Brenspeed install Steeda HD Strut Mounts (about 10k miles ago).
After the install I took it to a Tire Barn and they did my alignment. The tech at Tire Barn had to call Brenspeed for some assistance but they explained it over the phone and everything worked out fine.
So I got out last night to take a look and when I looked at the top of my D-Specs I noticed that on the top of the strut, where it points through the mounting point on the chassis (where you insert the allen wrench to adjust stiffness) that there seemed to be quite a bit of variance between the two struts. So, standing in front of the car looking down at the engine, the adjustment cap of the strut on the left (front right strut) was almost dead center of the circle cut-out of the chassis mounting point. The strut to my right (front left tire) was more in the 9 o'clock position. I eyeballed the wheels and there does seem to be more negative camber in the left front tire then the right front tire.
So my question is, do you think the clunking could come from the tech not torquing everything down enough and now the right front strut has shifted and is possibly loose? If that is the case, do you think this clunking could have damaged the HD mount?
I am going to bring it in to a different (local) Tire Barn to have them check the alignment. Hopefully it just needs to be realigned and everything torqued properly. Just curious what you all might think.

yea couldve been everything not being torqued down. i know when i installed my struts i didnt torque stuff down enough, and stuff ended up getting loose and making all kinds of racket. so i could definitely see it getting knocked out of whack

FIXED!
I feel like an idiot.
Never took the time to check the main bolt on top of the strut. It was way loose and the other side was a little loose.
Tightened them both up and no more clunk.
Duh.
