Installed P Springs and need some advice on adjustments
Setup:
Tokico D Specs (front and rear set to 2 from full hard)
FRPP Sway Bars (front set to back hole)
Ford P Springs
255/40/17 Hankook RS3 (45 psi front/35 psi rear)
Went autocrossing yesterday with the new p springs and we were chasing the tail somewhat. Initially we had the struts at 1 and the shocks at 4, this is where we had them prior to the install and it would understeer if anything else. With the P's, it would oversteer easily with the tail snapping around without warning. Adjusted the struts to 2 and it helped a bit. We thought it might have been hitting the bump stops in the turns so we went up to 2 on the shocks and this was a noticeable difference. I cut the bump stops (just the very top part) because they were hitting during normal driving. I am going to cut them a bit more and thats it. I'm just not sure if I should adjust the front sway bar to either the center or front hole. We have another event on the 7th and I would like to have a game plan. Any ideas?
