non lowering upgraded suspension?
Hey all,
Still new here, question for anyone that feels like answering, Are there suspension packages that will improve the handling of my 2013 mustang without lowering it. I use the car as our daily driver and there are lots of bumps/gutters around here that I don't want to scrape on so I don't want anything that lowers the car. Is that an option that exists?
Thanks for the responses!

There are alot of things you can do to improve ride quality. Control arms, sway bars, shocks, struts. Alot more too.. You dont have to drop your car alot. You could do a little drop like a inch or less also. Dont think you will have to worry about scraping with a small drop.

frpp p springs should be fine but they are 1 inch lower
I do think there are a few options that barely lower the car though, like boss 302 springs
stranoparts says they can be used on other models http://stranoparts.com/partdetails.p...205&ModelID=35

Most of the good quality coil overs work great at near stock ride height. Most cars handle better lowered no more than one inch. Limiting travel is not advisable with the spring rates most drivers use on the street.

I started with a set of Koni Str.t struts and shocks, and that helped. After supercharger i added a set of the Metco LCA's. I ended up lowering the rear with a set of rear springs for a 2009 Bullit which lowers the rear 12mm. You can get those springs cheap if you buy a set of Ford Racing springs for the Cobra Jet. The whole set was only $86 for all 4 springs, but i only needed the rears. If you want, i can get the part number off of the box sometime when i am home.

Shocks, struts, sta-bars and a performance street alignment.
You may want the bars to be adjustable so you can dial them in to best suit you and your driving. Hint: this does not necessarily mean set both of them to 'full stiff'.
Set your camber to -1° with caster-camber plates or Steeda 555-8135 strut mounts. You could set it still further negative, but only if your average cornering is enough harder than average traffic to benefit.
I don't know what you've got for wheels and tires, but those should at least eventually be part of the plan.
My '08 GT ↓↓↓ is still on the OE springs but has Koni Sports, Strano sta-bars, Steeda mounts, and camber that's somewhat more negative than
-1°. 18x9.5 GT500 wheels, 255/45 tires.
