Default Bridgestone Fuzion UHP tires

I just got two 235/55/17 Fusion UHP for my pony and they look great. I'll
let my Michelin 215/65/17's wear more and then put these on the front and
buy two 245/45/17 to change to the rear. Anyone running these new tires?

Does Bridgestone make the Fuzion brand?

From what little I've read, some folks didn't care for its unresponsiveness and for it becoming loud as it wears. Also be aware that, like almost ALL ultra high performance, the "all season" label is for sales and that in colder weather the rubber will lose it's tackiness. Every uhp type tire has a different temperature at which grip goes to chit du to that tires' particular compound.

I don't normally make appearance related comments.

But your proposed rear 245/45-17 tires are a good inch and a half shorter than your 235/55-17 front tires. About 25.7" tall vs 27.2".

All I'll tell you to do is choose carefully so that you won't be posting a "tires for sale" thread the week (day?) after you get them installed.

Yea, thanks Norm, I'll need to get 225/50/17's to get closer to ride height huh. Thanks again. My pony is sitting down in the rear now with the Michelin 215/65/17's, Dang!

225/50's are still only about 26" tall . . .

Go to Tirerack.com and spend a little time looking at the "specs" pages for various tire models. There's a reason that the most common 17" sizes being fit to 2005-up Mustangs are 235/55 and 255/50.
