Wheel hop then go boom...
I lowered the car (see sig) a couple weeks ago and everything has been good. Then this morning I was about 40m into my commute and an Audi wants to play. I should have known better cuz it was frakkin cold outside (maybe 40?) so from a stop I hit it some. Not all the way, but maybe a little more than half and goosing it coming out of the turn and then the wheel hop hits fast and HARD.
It was easily as loud as a .40 caliber or even a .45 going off and I thought I had blown a tire. I nursed it to the parking lot (yeah I was that close to work) and get out and check and everything looks ok.
Guess it is time to pony up for control arms. Also ask Santa for a Watts link (I know that isnt it....but it can't hurt!)

I bet the control arms just hit the bottom of the car :P
I run Whiteline uppers and lowers with relocation bracket. Wheels stay right on the ground. Whiteline just put out their new control arms to they did have an issue with them hitting the bottom of the car and breaking welds. But that's all fixed now have not seen any issues with the new ones.
