which control arms are better

I'm a proponent of solid lowers and an adjustable upper with mount. On your 2008 car, you can upgrade to the longer/stronger 2011 UCA/Mount setup.

I'm with Sharad. Fixed LCA and adjustable UCA if you intend on lowering the vehicle ever. I love my BMR setup and would recommend it to anyone. Street Lethal Performance is running a 15% off with free shipping sale on all BMR suspension for Black Friday. I'm thinking about picking up some stuff as well. Promo code is "BlackFridayBMR15" according to their Facebook page

Hypermotive is running a 15% off sale, they listed their sale on S197 a week ago. I'll be getting a few parts myself.

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you measure rear thrust angle?

From the rear toe measurements.
Yup, solid axles are not guaranteed to have zero toe measurements at both wheels or even at just one of them. Nor are rear cambers likely to be exactly zero either.

is there any benefit to having both adjustable? (lca and upper control arm) or should you just do one and I am lowered (kw v3 coilovers) i also take this car around twists and will hopefully be doing some autocross this summer instead of just drag racing so i want to optimize handling
