I am trying to find out the OEM spring rates for my 2013 V6 Convertible Pony Pack with 18's.
I am STILL looking at springs and shocks or coilovers or something.
I like the drop on the Vogtland leveling kit but don't know how the spring rate would compare to what I have.
I also like the idea of the Route 66 55d rear only as well as the Roush springs on the rear only.
I don't want slammed and I don't want the car to ride like crap. I just want to lose the gap and level it out and if handling is slightly improved then that is a plus too.
The convertible and V6 combo is proving problematic in finding a lowering solution.
It's a daily driver, a family trip, dog goes to the vet car as well as some spirited driving through the mountains on occasion.
I tried Hotchkis springs with the OEM shocks and let's just say it didn't go too well.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Why not keep the Hotchkis springs and add a set of Koni SR.T shock/struts? Hotchkis makes quality stuff. The ride height change you got with the Hotchkis Sport Springs is about as low as you would want to go and keep a good street car. 1.1 front and 1.6 rear.
As you discovered the stock shocks/struts cannot handle the springs you added making for a really poor ride.

A search found this info for stock rates. Not sure if they are correct but were posted on another forum.
Convertible F 144 and R 122
Coupe F 165 and R 142

another post says official Ford numbers for a 2005 are
Convertible F 114.2 and R 122.8

Way less spring rate than the springs you added and that is why the stock shocks/struts are now performing so badly.

I believe those rates are way low for a 2013. I believe that the 2013's got much higher spring rates than previous years and one of those you listed were for a 2005. Thats one reason I was trying to find the OEM rates. Some people say that the 2011 and up got the 2005-2011 GT springs and shocks. I dont know about all that but would like to know for sure what I have.
I had a 2008 V6 Vert and I can say without a doubt that the 2013 rides way stiffer than the 2008.
I sold the Hotchkis to someone on the forum with a GT coupe and he loves them. I have seen them on many GTs and they look great I just dont think they will work for the v6 Vert.
I plan on getting shocks/struts but I am not making the same mistake twice.
I read that the Vogtlands are f457 and r177.

Will be interesting to see the final answer. I thought the pony car was wheels only; not spring change. So base model springs?
See brembo50.com for spring rates. New GT with track pack is F 131 and R 167. GT without track pack is F 126 and R 156.

So I would say the numbers for your car are just a bit lower than the base GT.

Hope you get it the way you want it this time around.

I dont know what it actually is. To be honest I dont think I will actually find the real numbers unless I get the springs off my car tested to see what I've got.
The Pony pack is just cosmetic as far as I know. But I was told that the 2011 and up got different springs than the 05-10.
I may just go coilovers so I can put it where I want it. Who knows.
