06 GT with hotchkis suspension

06 GT with hotchkis suspension
I bought a 2006 GT a month ago with a hotchkis suspension on it. not very good for Louisiana roads. rides like a wagon with steel wheels. any ideas to make it ride better or do I need to replace the suspension with something else. don't plan on running the tracks or drag strips, just cruising.
