Steeda Springs
Hey guys, So I ordered Steeda Sport springs for my 13' V6 PP last week. And they arrived today, the salesman over at steeda informed me that these springs are progressive but from examining the springs, it is evident that they are linear.
I was wondering, do any of you guys have these springs installed?
I wont ever be seeing a track so I dont see why I should use linear rate springs when I can go progressive.
If any of you guys have these installed please let me know how you like them or not. Do you think they will be to stiff for day to day driving?
Last thing I want is to pay labor to get the springs installed and they will shatter my teeth during my daily commute?
Thanks in advance for the input.

Got a picture?
FWIW, springs will make the ride firm rather than harsh. Harsh is what happens when you bottom out on a bump stop, and that may actually be more likely with progressive springs (if the initial rate is too soft and the firm rate can't compensate).
Harsh is also a consequence of shock and strut valving that allows sharp bumps to generate large forces as the suspension moves rapidly.

I went from stock to Steeda Sports to Eibach Sportlines (progressive). The sportlines are by far the worst ride but not from the spring rate but from bottoming out on the bumpstops on pretty much any reasonably bad bump.
