Default Noticeable Torque Steer symptoms after BMR Adj. UCA Install.

Hey guys,
so this weekend I installed an adjustable BMR UCA on my 2005 GT. It was a pain in the *** project and I kept the stock bracket for now. But on the highway I'm noticing some definite pulling to the left upon hard acceleration. Could this be to not having the pinion angle right or something else?

No, pinion angle will not cause torque steer. Are you certain that you got all of the components in the correct place and tightened up with nothing crooked?

If so, then it could be related to the LCA's. Did you check those bushings for wear/tearing when you installed the UCA? It may even be because now that you have a stiffer aftermarket bushing in place, the LCA's are now flexing much more and using the more solid UCA as a pivot point so you notice more of the flexing.

I'll have to check them again. I installed J&M Lowers about 4 years ago. Didn't think they would be the culprit.

Problem fixed. All it was , was the driver's rear tire low from a screw. Got it fixed for free at Discount tire and no more pulling.

Gotta love the easy and overlooked fix. Now go fry those tires off since you'll have zero wheel-hop!

On top of that. yesterday I scored a set of 17'' Racestar wheels from Brenspeed during an E-Bay sale for 225 a pair. Went to A/M and got some Mickey Thompson's for them. So once those come in I can really romp into her.

Glad to hear you go it figured out. I was going to chime in that engines rotate clockwise as does the drivetrain (tranny/driveshaft) so any torque steer would've pulled you right, not left as that's the direction the body wants to twist in when you step on it. (Front left pulls up as front Right gets pushed down).
