Default Spring swapping / lowering

Will 2011 up front coil springs fit an 08 Mustang? I have a set of Eibach front lowering springs left over from a kit, and a 08 that needs lowering.
The springs are actually listed for an '11-'13. [part number 4.12535f]

Call Eibach and ask them. There has to be a reason it's listed specifically for the 11-13s. That's weird because most all other springs are listed for 05-14's

Yes, I had planned to call them in the morning although I may not get a "real" answer due to different specs being weighed in, or whatever.
So normally speaking the front ends from 05 and up are similar enough that the coils should be the same?

Sportlines FTW! I took a look at some pictures and compared the tech specs between the Eibach springs for the different years, and there are very subtle differences between the two. If it were my car, I wouldn't put coils on that are not designed for the specific year of the vehicle. I'm sure there is a reason why Eibach is separating the 05+ and 11+. Then again, there could just be a difference in bump stops/shock boots. I would call them and figure out why they're year specific. I know patience is tough to attain when it comes to our mustangs. Hang in there!

(This is assuming both GT's)

They probably have different part numbers due to the weight differences of the 4.6 of the 2008 and 5.0 of the 2011.

That's what I would think, but all other springs are listed for 05-14s

Default Updating spring question

Bringing up my old tread as I now have another question on another set of Eibach springs. I just gave the part numbers to Eibach who identified these as a set of 4 springs for the 05-10 Mustang GT. When I asked if they would physically fit the 11-14 he said no. When I asked why he simply said "they changed the suspension"! I know there would be different ratings for 11 up due to the 5.0 engine, but physically would they fit?

I wonder how much heavier the 5.0 is compared to the 4.6? That might make a different sprint a necessity
