Metal to metal noise in rear when turning right only!
The title says it all. Only when turning slightly right. A bit louder under slight acceleration. Not in differential as a mechanic suspected - rebuilt that - same noise. [car is an 05 GT]
Coming from lower rear. You can hear it /feel it in the floor. I'm thinking trailing arm bushings or the weird upper link. Is this a common problem?
Sorry I didn't spell METAL correctly.

Wild-*** guess because I have no idea what kind of metal-to-metal noise you're hearing . . . check for an exhaust line rubbing somewhere because it sounds like something is either moving sideways or up/down depending on which way the car is rolling. Aside from the suspension linkage, exhaust is the only thing that moves at all.
That's the best I can do.

I would like to start replacing bushings. Maybe upper control arm first and see if noise is gone. Then LCAs. Around here I can't buy bushings by themselves, only on E-bay. Any suggestions as to where to buy?
