Sound like you have most of the bases covered.

Are you going to upgrade the UCA to help reduce wheel hop? This will be even more important after the turbo upgrade.

On road courses front brake cooling realy helps and on my car I have the Quantum kit installed but others have used the Agent 47 kit. Most people are also using DOT 4 fluid. I ran ATE Super Blue this year and will replace it with ATE Typ 200 Amber when I do my pre season flush in the spring. The two different colours make it easy to know all of the old fluid has been flushed.

If your brake kit is the GT500 one then you can also get Ferodo DS2500 pads for the front and run the Hawk HPS on the rear. This is what I ran this year. Next year I'm thinking of switching to the EBC Yellowstuff all round.

Hey Stoenr,

Im located in the south suburbs of chicago and would like to take you on that offer for putting in rear springs for a bottle of o and some coke.

But seriously, about how much would it cost to buy the springs and have a shop install them for me?
Thanks

Default What Next

Put a set of FRPP springs on the car and was wondering what to do next. On a budget so would like to know what order to do the upgrades. Would have to do it in stages. Thanks for all your help.

Adjustable shocks/struts. The two big ones are Tokico D-Specs and Koni Sports. They both function pretty similar with the Koni sports being slightly better, but a lot more expensive. I chose the cheaper Tokico D-Specs and I have no complaints. They are amazing and you can change the cars characteristics from stiff corner carver to cushy highway cruiser in less than 5 minutes with nothing but the little tool that comes with the shocks/struts.

Other than the adjustable shocks what you should do next depends on what you want the car to do and how you use it and how much increase in NVH you are willing to accept.

You might find the shocks are all you need.

Default Eibach Pro-Kit Pricing?

Hey everyone,

Had a question regarding the Eibach Pro-Kit Price/installation.

Went to my local dealer and the price for the pro-kit was $450, and install was around $500 which included alignment. So I went to the local Steeda shop and they had the Eibach prokit for $340, and install was around $380 with alignment.

Looking online I see these kits for around $280. Should I just buy the Eibach prokit off the internet and then bring the parts to the Steeda Shop for install and alignment?

Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks.

P.S. I am not looking to do the install myself.

i think your best bet would be purchasing online then getting them installed at a reputable shop. heres a link to where the pro kit can be purchased at a pretty decent price.

I see you are in Ontario so assume you are talking about the Steeda shop in Milton. They are obviously very knowledagable about the cars and my dealings with them have been good.

When comparing prices off the internet to what you can get them for at Steeda make sure you include any duty and /or freight charges.

Hi all. I'm new to the forum but have been lurking on and off for at least a couple of years. Last September I finally pulled the trigger and got my first Mustang in a long time. Anyways, I have an 08 Mustang GT vert with a Roushcharger and Roush Stage 3 suspension that lowers the car 1 inch. In regards to my specific suspension, I am planning on getting the following:

Steeda PB and PB Brace.
Steeda LCAs and adjustable UCA.
Steeda HD strut mounts (is the 1% of camber adjustment enough to keep front suspension within specs).
Steeda rear LCA relocation brackets.
Steeda front control arm relocation kit.
Steeda bumpsteer kit.
Steeda GTrac brace.
BMR strut tower brace.
Steeda HD race engine mounts (not suspension related, obviously).

Is all this stuff overkill or are there more things that I need? The car is a weekend driver with the intention of taking it to the strip (will I have any issues being allowed to race at the strip since it is a convertible?) and I take corners like a maniac (OK, not really like a maniac).

This has been a great thread and any help I can get from any of you would be greatly appreciated. If you are still around F1Fan, I would love your input.

PS - In regards to the Steeda HD strut mounts ($300), would I be OK getting the GT500 strut mounts and BMR camber bolts (any issues with the camber bolts coming out of alignment?) ($100 combined).
