Is not sold already, None in Canada that are not sold from what I am told!!

My local dealer just recieved their Challenger and I stopped by to take a look at it. It looks much better in person than it does in pictures. The drivers seat is real comfortable and the dash looks good. Unfortunately I didn't get to drive it because it was in the show room and after hours. I will be posting a big surprise for you guys after Wednesday and I'll post it in this section. Don't ask what it is because I won't tell.

8If you go by specs, Dodge is advertising 0-60 at 4.9 seconds vs Shelby at 4.5 seconds and quarter time of 13.3 vs Shelby at 12.8
INTERESTING!![8D]

Until you get the What ifs that follow (like what if I buy a challenger and take the 5K I saved and dump it into the car, I'll be faster than a GT500...etc etc.)

RE: 2007-2007 GT500 vs 2009 Challenger
actually only the new challengers come out automatics srt8 and all of them had been pre-ordered (already bought) and i talked to a dealer at the dodge and he said the only way is that the buyer come to pick it up and if he didnt like it and decided not to buy it after all, then that challenger can be sold to the public
the sad thing is its only AUTOMATIC... its a muscle car with a v8 COME ON its a requirement to have a manual!

All 2009 Challenger SRT-8's have automatics, and do not have limited slip. When the 2010's come out with manual transmissions, limited slip, and hopefully different rear end options then it will be better competition for the GT500. As it stands now, I think one would have hard time beating a GT with some boltons and proper tires.

No limited slip?? Are you sure?
No limited slip?? Are you sure?
It's going to be good times until the muscle car dies again. (V8 muscle cars at least).
