2cokeman....I see in your signature that you have 560hp and torque...first is that RWHP or crank..and how did you achieve that....with just a tune...or a CAI and tune....let me know whose tune and what CAi if you dont mind

I set mine at 5600,In my old age it takes me that long to get with the program with the stock guess a gear shifter[8D]

I set mine at 6000 rpm and haven't hit the limiter yet. Of course now that I have the 93 Octane tune from VMP my limiter is set at 6500 rpm.

whats the safe limit on this motor?? I know now the stock limiter is like 6200 ish......... i know cause today i hit it a couple times cause i was spinning to much and didnt get out the throttle fast enough....

6000 rpm unless you change out the pully!

Justin at VMP Tuning says that 6500 rpm is the safe limit, but I still shift mine at 6,000 rpm. 6,000 is the highest that you can set the shift tone and light, but at least I don't have to worry about bouncing off the limiter if I am not quite quick enough on the shift since my limiter is set at 6,500.

Our cars don't make anymore power past 6000 rpm anyway.
