SGT re-tune?

SGT re-tune?
The price of gas is moderating somewhat now, but in the past few months premium has been....well, at a premium and sometimes not available at all. Also, I know occasionally the wrong hose gets dumped in a tank and you wind up paying $$$ for gas that's not what it should be. So here's my question....does the 08 Shelby GT REQUIRE or RECOMMEND premium fuel. If required, could one use a brenspeed or similar tuner to bring it down to regular gas performance, just as you could tune a regular GT up to premium performance settings? If so, which tuner would you recommend?
Thanks!

difference in price
Just an observation, most gas stations I've been to the price difference is .20 a gallon between regular and premium gas. So it costs about 3.60 more per tank to run premium gas. If any Shelby owner can not afford the difference I feel for them! Give up one pack of smokes or a six pack, etc and save the price of a tuner for something else.
It was 1979 since the last time I could not find premium gas.
Fill er up and have fun on the premium stuff.

Thanks for the input, I was more concerned with the quality of gas or lack there of causing problems with a car tuned for 91. I see some of the guys on the 4.6 forum discussing pinging with 91 tune because of the inconsistent quality of the gas. I had a Ranger that wouldn't run on pump 89 sometimes.....I certainly don't want my sgt pinging.......
Thanks....

i auctually alt between 91 and 93, i have never had any problems. it may sound crazy, but i get better mileage with 93, to the point its more economical to use 93 even with the higher cost due to the mileage increase, right now my car computer reads avg mpg at 21.8, that is with city for probably 75% of it. i ran 89 once by accident, nothing happend, but i wouldnt do it again, at least on purpose
