redcobra, waaaaay back in the late '80's I had a niece getting married in Dallas, actually in Lewisville, TX. I had heard rumor of a "shelby museum" in the area but nobody seemed to know much about. I called every Mustang shop and Ford dealer in the DFW area and finally one of them said, "Oh, you mean the chili factory?" Being from W. KY, we'd never seen Carroll Shelby's Chili Mix, so we made a trip out to the factory. There was CSX0001, along with a GLH, a half dozen Shelby Mustangs, and in the lobby, right next to a HUGE cast iron chili kettle was one of the original Daytona Coupes. Somewhere I've got a picture of me and my sons standing in front of it. They were like 8 and 5 and looked confused....they couldn't tell why Dad was so giddy!

Getting off the subject for a bit....................here is a couple of pix of some KR's and a black SuperSnake. If any of you guys live close to Vegas , you should really try to make it to Shelby's, everytime I go there (at least once a year) they have something new their working on. I live in San Diego which is about 340 miles away and I think its worth it on top of the Casino's and all the hot Women.

just like the CS6 the terlingua will be badass...but even MORE badass because it will handle! I want the seats out of the terlingua, theyre non adjustable race seats and have places for harnesses! I ordered my autopower rollbar for the stang...now im gunna need these seats so i can use my harnesses...but just like all of shelbys stuff its gunna be expensive as hell.

yeah i was there the friday before the OP orignal date. aug 9th. yeah they mentioned that it was gonna have 375 rwhp.... NOT EVEN CLOSE.... chances are it would only put out about 280-315 rwhp.. there probly just guessing at what might be at the crank.
