Default Heat Extractor Loose

Hey:
I was driving on the highway the other day (around 60mph) and one of the heat extractors on the hood became loose. The front flew up and now it is only attached on the back portion. I removed it and saw there are clips that hold it down, but the real adhesive is a double sided tape.
I was wondering if anyone else experienced this problem.
Also, I was thinking about just buying some 3m double sided tape and re-applying myself.
Does anyone have suggestions about which would be the best tape for use, because I would imagine it would have to resist some heat. (I think normal 3m tape is rated to 150 degrees)

Thanks for the help.
