I saw it in person at the auto show.. I have no complaints about it.. think it looks really good. The body lines are so much better than the current car, it looks very sleek and lean. Alot of the body lines don't show up that well in pictures.. it looks much better in person.

I also saw it at the auto show and I like it better than the GT look. IMO the front end is kinda weird lookin tho. I prefer the s197 lines a little better, but I do like the fender bulge over the rear wheel wells. I also like the front grill without the fog lights, it looks clearer. But I can talk all day about what I do and don't like. Overall, its a very nice looking car.

I agree 100% that the '10 Shelby looks better than the '10 GT. Just something about the changes in design and build on the Shelby give it the rough, in your face attitude they should have made the GTs with if they were going to redesign the S197s. Maybe in 2011 they'll offer the GT with the Shelby front end and at least help make it look more tolerable. And maybe they'll offer a "new retro" '05 - '09 rear end appearance kit for the new design Mustangs. : )

Ppl have to keep in mind, also, that the change in the rearend's shape was done to improve aerodynamics.......much the same reason the front end was reshaped. The improvements in this area supposedly were subtantial over the current S197. So if the car is gonna slip thru the air better for it (and get better MPG while its at it), I'll put up with the new rearend. But then again.....I've always been a function-over-form kinda guy.

+1 for Shelby looking MUCH better than the GT. I will not be replacing my 06GT unless I can find the funds for the Shelby. If Ford thinks they will sell more GT's if they look like a jap car, they will be the next one following GM into the tank..
