Default Im seeing GT500 prices all over the place

Ok so I'm seeing 06-08 GT500 prices all over the place.

I've seen 3 '07s that look pretty similar.
1 was $37k another was $49k and the other was $72k

How many different models were there in 07? I dont think the KR was out yet right?

So any idea why there could be such a huge price difference?

All were coupes

recently I've been seeing the following..

~$53K for 2009 GT500 Convertibles
~$48K for 2009 GT500 Coupes

~$39K-$45K for 2007/2008 GT500 Convertibles with very low miles
~$36K-$39K for 2007/2008 GT500 Coupes with very low miles

I've even seen the prices lower for 2007/2008's, just have to keep an eye out for the good deals...usually they're gone very quickly.

Thanks for the input

BTW what is a super snake? It's been awhile since I had a reason to really pay attention to what stangs are out there since I'm shopping now so I could use some help in that department.

I know theres a GT500 that was made for 07 right? And then the GT500KR for 08+

I just did some reading on wikipedia about the super snake. Id rather do my own mods to it then pay that much money

Next question, other than ebay where can I find a good amount of GT500s to choose from?

I may hold out for a used 2010 GT500 after hearing about their suspension upgrade

The 2010 GT500 is suppose to be on par with the GT500KR performance wise. I would definitely wait. Could check Autotrader.com.

+1^^

along with autotrader.com, you can also try vehix.com & ebay. I've been keeping up with all 3 of these places to get a good idea of what's out there and where the prices are at...

Well, I assume he's looking for a late model, used car to get a bargain and avoid the instant drop in value that the 2010 GT500 will have.
Waiting for the 2010 GT500 will take a long time to see prices below MSRP.

Going with a used GT500, you can get a huge deal! Check eBay and search for GT500's then check the little box for Completed Listings (on the lower left).
I just tried that and got 172 matches.
Of course most were Reserve Not Met or Buy It Now listings that didn't sell, but a few did sell.

But with so many clones out there I would be hesitant to buy one without an expert taking a look at it.

Yeah, I got a huge deal on my GT500 I only paid 32,260 out the door because mine was listed as a fleet vehicle prior to acquisition by the dealership. But to be sure all you have to do is call Ford Customer Relations and give them the VIN, they can look up the car and tell you if it's really a GT500 or not. I had them send me my original window sticker just to be sure.
