Default Stock 2010 GT500 Dyno'd by Inside Line = 570hp...

511hp at the wheels.

Read it here:

Not in the market for one, but I could see how that underrated HP might start to justify an inflated dealer price!

I'm not surprised. Most stock 07-09's are dynoing at 440-450 rwph, or 517-529 crank hp.

It was my virus protection that wasn't letting it run. My bad

So pumped if this is really the case. That's awesome.

Wouldn't 511rwhp = 601 crank hp using the typical 15% drivetrain loss? Are supercharged engines factored differently? Ofcourse, not that 570 is anything to complain about.

The article said north of 570 at the crank so they were just giving a ballpark fig...was it a manual or an AUTO? could not find that in the article.....makes me want the new GT500 even more!

Ah, gotcha. I'm sure it was a manual as I'd think they make a note of it if they had an auto put in it. Makes me want one more as well and I'm sure I'll want one more tomorrow.

There is not an option for a auto on the '10 GT500 so this was a manual.
