I am pretty sure i know the answer to this. I am getting ready to start parting out my car and if the xcal2 will work on the GT500 i'll prob just keep it. I know i'll have to buy new tunes and all.

The xcal might work, but it is locked to a specific car. Actually, the 2007+ cars require a larger tune file, and I don't think the XCAL2 can handle it. (must have an xcal 3).
Otherwise, it's a matter of the tune matching the car's computer.
