We headed out to the track again last night to make a few more bone stock runs as well some drag radial passes. I got the call from Derek who just arrived at the track that it was raining. Not the way we wanted to start the night. So I continue my way up and as I get to the tack the rain had cleared but everything was soaked. It took another 2 hours before we could get our first run in. Still hot, humid and muggy we made our first pass of the night and cracked off a 12.47@116.37mph. The 2 hour cool down definitely helped. Next up was 3X Champ UPR's Jeremy Martorella. The car only had a 40 minute cool down and the car was still hot to the touch. None the less Jeremy took a crack at it and made his first pass in the 2010. The car bogged off the line but still made a 12.77 pass. Definitely not the time that Jeremy was looking for but still just as good as our runs from our first time at the track last week.
The unfortunate thing is that we weren't able to make some passes on the DR's as the rain delay ate up a lot of time. We only had time to make 3 passes last night.
Next week we plan to get those DR passes in as well as putting in a few 93 octane tunes to see how the car reacts.
I just saw the video on youtube of the car going 10.54. It is UNBELIEVEABLE! What mods have been done to it to get there?
That was our 08' which had a stock motor with a 3.4L Whipple and a bunch of other bolt-ons.
That car was a 9 sec car with slicks but unfortunately we blew it up before making our 9 sec pass. Then we sold the car once we put it back together and ordered the 2010. The 2010 has an all aluminum Boss 330 racing built longblock with heads and cams at the shop and we're awaiting a new 3.4L crusher from Whipple which will be here shortly. We look to be running 9's as soon as we drop the motor in with the whipple setup.

Which DR's and size are you running?
The 10.70 pass was with a 2.9L whipple. That's Chris H's car a local lethal customer. That car will see 9's real soon as well.
