Was the change difficult? I swapped my UD pulleys on my old GT and it was a pain in the rear.

You will love it. I felt the need for more power almost right away. I did my pulley, intake, tune. Cost me $1k and I have never bought a more reliable car that could gain so much power with only $1k in mods. Since you already have an intake, a tune only would net you about 50 RWHP. Do a pulley and you'll be sitting in the 540 RWHP range. That's +/- 650 BHP.

The pulley swap is a breeze. All you need is a good pulley puller/installer tool. Justin over at www.vmptuning.com has made a good one. He did mine in about 10 minutes on a hot motor. After that I made 525 RWHP in 100 degree weather with terrible South Florida Humidity. If you need tips/help on future mods just let me know and I'll try to help as best as I can. Just remember that you will never have enough more. You will always want more; it only takes time to realize it.

Beautiful car and congrats!

As for the pulley changes, I have a 2009 GT 500 Cobra. Is the difference in performance worth it?

hands down, YES!!!!!

My 08 GT500 went from a baseline of 418rwhp to 532rwhp & 514rwtq @ 14.2psi on a Mustang Dyno. When I say that I went from disappointed to completely amazed, I was not joking. The new throttle response and additional power I gained is unbelievable. It's how these cars should have come from the factory. As far as wanting more, I'm actually pretty content right now....but in the next few years who knows, might just have to upgrade to a Whipple...LOL!!

05 Mustang.....
Is that from a pulley change alone or pulley change with a cai/tune??

Those are very impressive numbers!
