Default 2010 gt500 clutch?

Question for all those who have driven the 2010 gt500. How is the feel of the clutch? I hear its a lot lighter and easier to manage than the previous models.

Reason I ask is because I'm a bit of a manual tranny newb and my last one (370z) had a horrible feeling clutch. Was fairly light, but there was tons of travel before it grabbed and then it seemed to want to grab instantly. Not a fun experience. You guys think I'll have any better luck with the gt500?

I treid several and the clutch in the 2010 GT500 is so light I would not hesitate to get it even with all the traffic I gotta deal with here in LA!
Too bad they still haven't made the shifter less notchy and stiff. Maybe next year...

We took our car apart this week to do our build and while we were in there we put in a Mcleod RXT twin disc clutch kit. We were actually quite impressed at the size of the stock 2010 clutch. It's much larger than the previous 07-09 version. Looks like the discs are atleast 1" larger in diameter than the previous year. The entire assembly is thicker and just appears to be much beefier than the older version.

One thing I'll note about the 2010 clutch is that there is no chatter at all when slipping the clutch from a complete stop. Not once have I experience this with our 2010. Although I believe our 08' drove like a dream too and was a pleasure to drive I did notice that the clutch had some slight chatter when trying to slip it from a stop.
