I am by no means a great mechanic, but I can do all the basics and have installed an exhaust and short throw shifter in my garage with no difficulty. That said, the install looks easy, but I have never changed a tune and am wondering if there is any danger of really messing something up or if it is relatively "idiot proof" - from what I can gather, the tune change is a "plug and play" type operation, no?

Any insights would be appreciated!

thanks in advance

Ford Racing's CAI is very high quality and easy to install. The Procal II tuner, although substandard compared with other more capable aftermarket tuners, is way better than the original Procal tool and allows adjustment for gear ratio and tire size. The tune is very easy to install with the Procal II.
