I just got a new 2010 Shelby GT500 and it's a great car! I traded in my M3 on it and so getting used to driving a big tourqey V8 again.
I have a question regarding the 1-2 shift. The car will toast the tires in second and get all sideways if you are putting the pedal to the metal. If you are driving liesurely 1-2 is fine as well. Every now and then when shifting from 1st to 2nd at more than liesurely but less than aggressive and shifting from 1st to 2nd quickly it seems that the exhaust tone is a little different, sort of flutter for a couple of seconds. Is this normal? I think I'm just reading too much into it as like I said it runs very well indeed.
