Default Ceramic clutch chatter


I have a 2009 Shelby GT 500 and want to replace my stock clutch with a high-performance ceramic clutch but I'm a little concerned about chatter. Does anyone know if this will be a big issue and if so does it get better after the break-in period? Thanks.

Clutch chatter/shudder is a normal characteristic of the 07 - 09 GT500 twin disc clutch.

You must already have a chatter/judder, we already have a twin disc

What clutch kit do you have?
Shaftmasters 3.5 Aluminum DS, Whipple HO 10 PSI, FR handling Pack w/GT 500 Strut Mounts, FR K sprngs, MGW STS, Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, Spec 3+ Clutch, Roush Facia/Spoiler, 9 Bar grill, Agent 47 Mirrors, Borla Stingers, BMR LCA & Relocation Brackets, Adjustable Panhard Bar, Interceptor guages, and someother stuff

I've upgraded to the Spec SS-Trim super twin disc clutch, and i still get the shudder/chatter. I would almost go as far as saying that the shudder/chatter is worse than when the factory clutch was in the car. I am out of the break in period but it still seems to be about the same when taking off in 1st and reverse. I'm pretty sure with more seat time i will be able eliminate most of it. As this clutch does feel quite a bit different than the stock one did, at least to me anyways.....
