Default 08' GT500 KR Throttle Sticking...

Has anyone had a problem where the RPM's suddenly shoot up and keep hitting the REV limiter - rat-tat-tat-tat-tat... This has happened to us 3 separate times... After the 1st time, we took it into the dealer and they said they could NOT reproduce the problem and there were no error codes - hence no solution - freak accident... This was about 6 months ago...

Then it happend again this past Saturday and then again just today (Monday) while my wife was driving down the I-10 at about 70mph, she let her foot off the gas as she was approaching traffic and the car then started to accelerate and then - rat-tat-tat-tat-tat... off the rev limiter... (No cruise control was being used in any situations as the 1st and 2nd incidents both happened coming out of 1st going into 2nd and the most recent while cruisng at 70mph on the freeway...)

Seems like a stuck throttle - but it is so intermittent it is hard to nail down... Turning the car off and then back on - and rat-tat-tat-tat-tat... off and on again - pumping the gas pedal, and eventaully it goes away...

I have heard about an issue with the Electronic Throttle Control, but can't find any hard info. on a solution...

Strange that this issue hasn't happened to anyone else...

Well its a drive-by-wire setup so it wouldn't have to actually be pedal related. Could be a faulty throttle position sensor.
