Default Shelby vert or Roush vert

Been a GM guy a long time. Last week I test drove a 2011 shelby. Needless to say, I'm pretty freaking stoked about getting one. Probably going to start making offers any day. Been wearing the keys off my keyboard the last several days surfing the web looking for the perfect color. Now all of a sudden I've found a couple of 2010 Roush stage 3's that look awesome, too.

Ok here's the question: 2011 Shelby w/SVT and electronics package or the Roush??? Need opinions before I fly off into cyberspace or my wife pulls the plug.
Thanks for any input..

a shelby is a shelby

a roush stage 3 is just a modded gt in the end (even thou they are amazing handling cars)

built 5.4 4v supercharged > blown 4.6 3v......

gt500 hands down IMO... I love the roush stage 3's but the gt500 is that much sweeter..

I'm not a big fan of the looks of the GT500 so I say the new Roush 5XR

not bad looking at all and pretty decently priced for a 16k upgrade...However, I am assuming with the 150 units being built and some additional exclusivity you are probably in the ballpark of about 60-70k delivered for a mustang gt 5.0 with this roush package upgrades...which will get you 525BHP...
thats a little rich IMO for a car that is at its max or close to it in the power realm...

I'm 99% sure I'm going Shelby. I'm still stoked after driving one. Check out this Roush though. Pretty bad a$$ I think. But 59,000?

Unless that is a built internal 4.6L engine, the HP/TQ numbers on that badge are at the flywheel. This car has no chance keeping up with a mildly modded GT500. Also, you won't have the 6 speed transmission with that car.

I would get a fully loaded 2011 GT500 before I would ever buy that car. You will retain a better resale value and have much more power potential.
