Look at my album.
Do my stripes look darker than yours for some reason?
Are they a bit different?
These strips are called "Alloy" and were put on only 759 08 Black Snakes (coupes)...they are far and above my favorite due to the fact of how they seem to change color in different light...and your idea of the "murdered out" look is intriguing...
you do know that pretty much useless effort..as soon as you hit them with a decent wheel cleaner it is going to pretty much strip most of it off..having that many layers does nothing more then having 2 or 3 layers. also the layers dont stay around for ever depending on what kind of wax you use especially on wheels may only last a couple of weeks.
That may in fact be true but my wheels have never had so much as 1 ml of wheel cleaner applied to them. The car has never been driven in/on a wet road (never will in the future) and I will go as far as to say that I wipe them out with a micro fiber towel every (I don't want to bullpoop here) 5-7 miles maximum. I pull the rims to polish/wax the insides and areas that are tough to reach ie inner lip etc. While the rims are off this also allows me to apply tire dressing to the inside of the tires as a dirty inner tire drives me knuts lol.
