Michelin PS A/S - how good are they on a drag strip?

How good are performance All Seasons on a hot drag strip?
So I live in Canada, and we all know how horrible the stock Good Years are below 50 degrees. On a hot day, they are fantastic, but I'm thinking with ultra-performance all seasons I will have overall better traction off the line for more of the year.
My question is: how good are A/S on a hot day at a drag strip? I am unlikely to race around a race track but I'm more likely to go drag racing. I know that I will never achieve the 1.0 lateral Gs with A/S but I don't need that on regular roads. What I do want is awesome straight-line traction like on a drag strip. How much will I suffer with A/S?
Thanks!

540 views and no reply? I cannot believe that nobody has ever tried drag racing on ultra performance A/S? I'm just wondering what's the difference between A/S and summers on a drag strip.
I've read on other forums like STI forums and people have had great success on the drag strip, but those are lighter AWD cars with less horsepower. I'm thinking a high powered RWD car will have a much different experience running performance A/S on a drag strip.
Thanks for your insights!

The PS AS+ is probably about as grippy an all-season tire as you'll find.
Tire Rack's database does not permit very good comparison across different tire types or even for the same tires tested on different days. I know, because I went through the same thing twice last year. Once for the Mustang (GY Asymmetrics, also not very grippy at under 40°F), and once for those same Michelins for my wife's Subaru. I'd like to be able to extrapolate my own experience with those tires at 265 ft-lbs or so and AWD up to your 500-ish and RWD, but it's too much of a stretch.
(how many of those hits were just you peeking in to see?)
