Potential GT500 Owner

I know, Baker its exciting.
The best part is after we pay it off, he will probably get an SUV (because he likes to change things up) then he is going to give me the 500.
Lifter, that is exactly what he is thinking. He is one of those people that changes his mind a lot on cars, so I'm hoping he sticks with wanting the GT500.

o man, SRT or a Shelby, that is a tough choice, because both cars are sexy. Cant go wrong with either car. However, Im a shelby guy, was looking at a 2007 GT500 in Grabber Orange, but decided to pass, didnt like the history of the car - was involved in an accident.
anywho, if you want some help, should sign up at TeamShelby.com, alot of great guys over there, and never know, someone might be selling a Shelby that you both will like and possibly get a great price than dealing with a Dealer.
Also if you are going to get a SUV in the future, save your money and upgrade the Shelby to a SuperSnake

Thanks for the TeamShelby tip.
He has been looking for a good GT500 forum, but most of them are pretty slow.
I'll have him check it out.
Yeah I really liked the SRT-8 in person, but not nearly as much as the Mustang.
But then again I'm biased.

The SRT8 might be fun until you get toasted by a Mustang...then you will know you made the incorrect choice...I do enjoy taunting them myself... LOL

Exactly! While the new 392 is awesome, it basically finally brought it up to where the 5th gen Camaro SS performs. That doesn't even start on the new GT500, it's a completely different level of car.

For me it's never ever about the hp but rather the looks and sound. My preference would go something like this (out of 100)
392 Challenger 100
Shelby GT500 100
Camaro ZL1 90
Mustang GT 89
Challenger RT 89
Camaro SS 80
Mustang V6 50
Camaro V6 40
Challenger V6 40
392 Challenger 100
Shelby GT500 100
Camaro ZL1 90
Mustang GT 89
Challenger RT 89
Camaro SS 80
Mustang V6 50
Camaro V6 40
Challenger V6 40
