My GT500 is the car of my dreams since I was just a little guy with my 69 stang with the whopping 200 ci engine. No issues yet except the stupid iPod won't work all the time with Sync. Ford says its my iPod that's the issue (probably is). Man can this GT fly. 5.4L is perfect for what comes with it, but if I want to push that it can handle another 150 hp very easily. The 5.0L can also handle more and can probably make around 540 HP with a supercharger. But that shelby SNAKE emblem is just tooooo bad looking.

Do your homework on this car...
They had reliability problems when they first came out (electrical mostly) but I think Mercedes sorted it out now.
Also, might not be an issue to you but the gas mileage on these cars is terrible.
So if you gonna use it as a daily driver, you'll be at the pump often.

How old is your IPOD? I had an old IPOD and had similar issues until it somehow caused the entire USB function to crash. 15 min at local dealer and then reflashed the software. used a newer Ipod from one of the kids and no problems at all. Easy fix.
