Default GT500, JLT CAI & 93 race tune questions

Hey guys,
Ive been really wanting to supercharge my sixxer but today I came across a local guy with the cheapest gt500 I've ever seen, 2007, 25.8k miles and $28k price tag. It's got a JLT CAI & 93 race tune (not sure from who). And Apparently it has a pulley, not sure what size or whatever. It also has hid headlights. My sixxer sells for around $11-13k locally so it wouldn't be too much to get the gt500. He's only sellin to upgrade to a 5.0 and build that. It looks like a super well kept and clean car. With all that said
From said mods what's your estimation of horsepower output, quarter mile times (like I said estimate), and how good of a deal doea this sound to you guys? I feel like its a great deal but I just want others input

not a bad price... With the 2.59 pulley swap/JLT/tune you'll be looking about 540-550rwhp depending on the tune... could be slightly less. not sure what he's thinking about when "upgrading" to a 5.0. The GT500 platform has been proven to 750rwhp without going to the internals... Definitely get an experienced mechanic to take a look at it to see how well it's been maintained.

Thanks adidas, and I definitely will have a mechanic look. I couldn't tell you what he's thinking with the upgrade but I'm not bothered by it if I get a Shelby put
Of the deal

Owning a 2008 GT 500 and a 2011 GT I can say without a doubt that the GT 500 even though 3 years older is the superior car.

Not sure if you would be interested but a guy in my local mustang club in Des Moines IA has a very nice modified Roush 427R track pak car with 11K miles that he is selling for 23K. I believe it is a 2007. It has several high dollar modifications. He is a very motivated seller. PM me if you want more details.

FWIW I am a Shelby guy myself (11 GT500). If I had more garage space I would purchase this myself for a dedicated track car.
