Default steeda CAi package

it might be a few months from now but i got my eyes on a steeda CAi package here's the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IpkG1...eature=related.

i have a few questions
1. is this street legal?
2. would i pass smog in California?
3. void my warranties?

The intake does not have CARB exemption number so it would not be legal in California. Warranty like I tell everyone will depend on your dealer.

Some dealers know how warranty really works and only deny warranty claims on specific instances if they feel the aftermarket parts are the cause of the needed repair without voiding your entire warranty, others play games and threaten to void your entire warranty simply because there are aftermarket parts on the car, which is not correct.

oh i see, but if i ever needed to have my car smog, i just simple put my stock intake back in and re tune the car? does it work like that?

It is possible to do it that way, once you flash back to stock you would need to drive the car around for several drive cycles for all the readiness tests that need to be run to actually complete before the car is tested.

thank you for all the info, one more question tho, if i decided to go with just the 2.65in steeda pulley, do i need to tune my car and would i pass the smog test.
