I am still on my Goodyears and for the way I drive they are fine. Oh my odo sits at 2350 miles.

My wife has said she is wondering when she will be in the garage and the GT 500 will be in the bedroom...I tell her thats just crazy...there is no way to get the car up the stairs! (Update: Ramp construction to begin in spring of 2012!)
There is NO problem that can't be solved by the simple application of more Horsepower!!
i replaced the tires on my boss 302 at 10k on the clock with bridgestone potenza s-04 pole position. i track the car monthly and it is my dd. the s-04 are fantastic on teh track, quiet on the road, and good in the rain. much more grip than the pirelli tires that came on the boss.

dont get 555's, i had them on my stock 03 mustang gt and their traction sucked imo + their sidewalls are soft flex alot making the ride feel a bit boaty or less precise compared to a harder sidewalled tire.

1) Is the car a DD or weekend Toy?
2) Does it get stored? I assume yes living in Idaho.
3) Drag Racing, Road racing, Auto Cross, Spirited street driving?
4) Dry traction, Wet Traction, Road Noise, Tread Wear?
It would be helpful to share some additional info to get a better dialed in solution.
Great Tire recommendations in 19"
1)Bridgestone RE-11
2) Michelin Pilot Super Sports or PS2
3)Continental Extreme DW or DWS (all season)
4)Nitto Invo solid all around summer tire with low road noise.
5)Cooper Zeon RS3-A (all season)
I would NOT replace with any Goodyear product especially living in Idaho.

re-11 doesn't come in the correct front size for stangs, Bridgestone recommends the S-04's instead. You would have to go with a lower and wider front, the correct rear is available. i talked with a bridgestone engineer about the re-11 and he felt the lower profile and wider footprint would change the handling of the car and didn't recommend the re-11.
