Just curious... Why headers?? Just for the sound?? As far as raspy etc.. Headers will effect the tone and it will have a higher pitch .. An x pipe will only exaggerate that more.. I have seen where allot of people who went to headers bought the mms axle backs off a guy on team Shelby.. Exhaust is one of the hardest things to advise anyone on as it is so personal and preference opinion based.. Me, I spent $$$ buying high and selling low to finally come up with the combination I loved..I have had catless, high flow cats and x pipe, phrp h pipe, Muffler deletes, borla stingers, 2 different Corsa combos, borla touring, ROUSH extreme, ford racing stingers, ford racing KR axelbacks .... Etc etc etc...
MY PERSONAL favorite is the exhaust I am running now.. Stock cats and x pipe , with x pipe removed and shelby KR h pipe weld in place of it ... Ford racing KR axel backs...
Good luck in your quest...you will read many who swear by their choice but the only choice that wins in the end is the one you choose and like yourself.. Hopefully it will be easier for you
