I will let you know in a few days when I get mine back from the shop. Everyone who has 3.73's say that the every day street driveability gets better. It's more fluid from a stop and reverse is easier to maneuver. In theory the 3.73 will give you better acceleration, but if you do not have traction, this is just going to blow the tires off more so then they already do.. I am running lower control arms and drag radials.

That is exactly what everyone told me when I had my Shelby.....3.73's were definitely on my "to-do" list...untill I got rid of her. I never came across one person who switched to a 3.73 gear and had anything bad to say about it.

You have stock 3.31 gears unless yours is a KR (3.73's) . I have heard 90% of positive feedback for people running 3.73's. 3.73's come on the '11/'12 GT500's with the SVTPP if I remember correctly. Most people state that going to 3.73's was the best mod they ever did. The 3.31's kind of fall on their face from a stop and also reverse is a bit of a pain. With 3.73's it is much more fluid from a stop and better street drivability. Many people say that 3.73's are what they should have came with and they are the best for street driveabilty. If you get serious about going to the track 4.10's. This is a popular topic that is talked about on the other forums. Get some drag radials and don't fear the gear!
haha, i like it.... also Drag Radials for the win.... i say they should come stock on these cars, only thing I dont like about nittos is you dont get much tread.

Actually having LOWER gears (those with a higher number, i.e. 3.31s are higher gears than the 3.73s) gives more power from the start but limits the top end.

I used to have a ****** Jeep pickup that had a Timken rear end with 5.38s ! That truck would climb a tree but literally would not go more than 55 MPH wide open and about to explode ! LOL
