I will always remember the the answer he gave when asked what was his favorite car he designed and he replied the next one. His name will live on in the automotive world.

This sucks. Just found out this news. The world def just lost a Damn good good man and car builder/designer. RIP Mr Shelby ;( and god speed.

Rest in peace, Mr. Shelby. Your awesome creations were one of the main things that turned me into a Mustang fanatic. You will be missed.

He was definitely a Rockstar in the automotive world. The engine dress up kit I just purchased from him will look that much better.
What a legacy he has. The builder of cool fun fast cars! Very nice.

RIP Carroll Shelby. Thanks for al the advancements to the pony car and taking a 'Secretaries Car' and making it a muscle car.
You will be missed and I'm glad you were able to see the Shelby 1000 be completed

Carroll Shelby had racing oil in his veins and was the Real Deal car guy. You will be sadly missed. I truly envied this man.

A true legend and humanitarian that touched the lives of so many people. He will be missed but his legend and life's work will live on. Thank You Carroll Shelby.
