Default Might be selling my 08 gt500

I've been considering making a change. I love my 08 gt500 .. But might get a 2013 or 2014
I'm thinking for the right price I might sell.. I'm thinking leaving as is.. Not returning to stock ..
This is how it stands
2008 vista blue with white stripes gt500 : 54,000 NEVER seen a dragstrip highway miles
Has the tsb done for clutch and tranny
New tires all around
New brakes hawks HPS
SVT suspension / handling pack
J&M double adjustable UCA
J&M LCA
BMR panhard bar and brace
Ford Racing KR short throw shifter
VMP TVS and VMP Dyno tuned by Justin himself
(676rwhp ; 666 lb torque)
Ford racing cold air intake
Chrome 2010 style gt500 wheels
Cervinis type 4 hood with recessed twist locks
Shaker 1000 with infinity sound system upgrades
Custom Shelby signed headrests
Shelby side scoops
ROUSH window quarters
OEM HID headlights
Red stitch interior upgrade
Shelby engine caps
C&R dual fan heat exchanger
Actual KR exhaust including actual KR h pipe for deep rumble and KR axelbacks
Also have an extra lethal high flow catted x pipe
signed dash plaque with all certificates of authenticity and csm registration
I think that's everything..might of missed a few things... Anyways I might list for $32,000- $33,000??

Too low?? Too high.. I know I wouldn't go much lower and would just keep .. Just thinking out loud...

the only think that is going to hurt you tj is the miles. i know you have a lot of money in mods but that doesnt always help the sale. you have to find that specific person who wants exactly what you have done to your car.

I think you are def. in the right area on price. But it might take a little while to find the right person who wants it. Cars just arent moving these days

Sounds like a good starting place to me. Been thinking about that myself, not sure I'll sell this one if I go for a new one tho. It sure is tempting! Had mine at Hallet roadcoarse for the Shelby Mid America, got it all dirty and it took several hours to clean it up for the car show. Wife said "You need one to race and one to show"! She has never given me an opening like that! Ha!

I agree with what Zak said....price is in the ballpark for where others are listed, but the miles and mods are going to narrow select buyers for your car.

Good luck with whatever you decide!

I only came in here to see what you were selling it for (price) but I would say you are ok in that range. 07 - 09 Stage 3 Roushs with almost 100k miles still sell for upper 20's. People want that chance to own their dream car. But, 95% can't afford a 50 to 80k car. When one drops down into their range and it's not because of an accident they jump.

When I bought mine in February it had 16k miles on it and it was $31,000. The Roush is less popular and less expensive than a GT500. Yet, there were people begging the dealership to sell it to them while I took the weekend driving down to S Carolina to buy it. Luckily I put down a deposit. Even when I was there buying it there were people looking at it. I don't think you would have an issue unloading it for 33k. At all.

Thx all.. Yeah I'm still leaning 70% towards keeping it ... But who knows... Right buyer, right price... But not 100% sure I would even get a 13 or 14 gt500... Who knows

if I had the money, and didn't already have a small fortune tied up in my 07, I would buy it.
thats a very fair price, considering what you have in it.
wait around for a Mustang guy that knows his Mustangs, and he'll buy it.
i agree the miles are a little high, but your mods balance that out, i think you can get your asking price if you are patient.
around my parts a stock GT500 will go for that price.
good luck with whatever you choose to do.

Has the tsb done for clutch and tranny
Does this mean you ran into the problem or somehow got them to do the TSB and cover it even though you had no symptoms?

Our 08 has 9k mi. on it and we have not had any symptoms so far.
Of course I'm asking this question again...
Do they ALL end up needing to have this done?
Ive heard mixed answers when it comes to this.

To be honest ... I never felt any symptoms.. But I was at a speed shop and Bill from SVT was there and he said my car probably has it.. He tried showing me the symptoms (but again I did not notice) but took it to my dealer with the tsb printed out and voila .. It was replaced
