Removed it all together. It wasn't any more effective at removing oil than the straight OEM hose. If it doesn't catch oil on the passenger's side, it won't catch anything on the intake side either. I previously had a catch can that is popular with the Corvette enthusiasts and it would extract almost a teaspoon of oil every 100 miles on the PCV side.

@ Lifter - Makes me think mine is not too much, if yours was about the same with less miles. How hard do you drive it? I really don't drive my GT500 all that hard.
I will have to measure mine next time...I do run around hitting the higher RPM levels now and then LOL...I do think it will be a non-advantage to putting one on the drivers side...I checked the hose from the CAI and it is perfectly clean...

MM (or anyone else for that matter...) would you mind posting pics of how you've got this plumbed up? I have a catch can I was going to use for my M90 with the '10 but never plumbed it up fully. That was a different setup than my GT500 is going to be as that was a drivers side setup.

I was thinking of selling it until I saw this thread.

Here is how mine is plumbed wcgman! If there is not enough detail in the pics let me know and I'll try to find the instructions that came with it. You can probably download installation manual from JLT or Moroso also.

Looks good... mine didn't come with that bracket that fits under the strut tower brace, so I have mine mounted further forward. I have heard from multiple people that you're not going to catch much of anything on the drivers side. Most of it comes on the passenger side, and each car varies on blow-by. I have a little in my can, but not as much as yours and I have about 5k on it. I like the look of yours.

Thanks for the comment adidas! I think it looks pretty good too! I don't think I'll put one on the drivers side, no one seems to think it's needed. It seems like a lot in the can to me but I did have a track day on a road course, about 150 miles, at 4500 to 5500 rpm mostly in 3rd gear. Maybe quite a bit of the blowby came from that. Anyway we will see as time goes by!
