Default Drained Air/Oil Separator

I Changed the oil and intake filter and drained the air/oil separator today. This is what came out of the catch can. About 6k on the oil. I installed a Moroso Air/Oil separator about 5k ago. Had 2 to 2&1/2 oz in the catch can. Sounds like a lot to me. I did have about 70 laps on a road coarse on this oil change. Maybe that added to the blow by. How does that compare to anyone else?

Do you have one on the driver side as well, Mine has way less than that after about 5000km

That's what I thought ... same one I have. I just removed it a few months ago. The Moroso looks to be much more effective at extracting oil.

I had about the same amount in mine after 2500 miles...was a bit surprising...but really glad that is not going back through the blower! As far as putting one on the drivers side...I am under the impression that is the air intake side...pulls clean air from the CAI and then discharges on the passenger side with the oil fumes into the catch can...I dont think a can on the drivers side would have anything to catch...

Thanks for the replies guys. I will have to research more before putting one on drivers side. Maybe someone who has one on both sides will tell us how theirs does.

@ Lifter - Makes me think mine is not too much, if yours was about the same with less miles. How hard do you drive it? I really don't drive my GT500 all that hard.
