I am about 85% sure on getting a red/white stripe combo SVTPP with 542 miles on it.
The price of the car is as of now 42,000.

any regrets? I'm pretty excited even though i will owe about $16,000 on it.

Coming from my srt8 charger the MPG was terrible!
I know i wont get what a prius gets but is it decent, below, or above? lol

and does anyone have pictures of their red GT500'S with black wheels or red with black stripes instead of black?

No nothing like that, I have a good GPA discount right now....

but since I will be financing the car it will have to be under my name,

would you know if i'd be able to get the car under my moms name for the insurance and have me listed as a driver? Or something similair to make my premium cheaper?

That's an excellent price for that car!

I've had no regrets whatsoever! This car is the most awesome Mustang I've ever owned, and I've owned some really badass Mustangs! LOL!

LOL! Not really an issue for me. I'm a 58 year old married man with an excellent driving record, and multiple insurance lines with the same company. But for the record, it cost me $10 more per month for full coverage on the 2011 Shelby, than for the same coverage on my 2004 Ford Explorer Sport winter beater!

Hmm, your mileage can be as good, or bad, as your right foot will allow! If you don't constantly get into it, and use 5th and 6th gear for cruising around, you can get decent mileage. If, like me, you have a lead foot, well, let's just say I'm glad the local Shell station is right down on the corner! LOL!

Think I'm gonna keep the wheels the factory color. The dark grey looks real nice with the whole package, although I'm sure black would look nice as well. As far as a decklid It would probably look good although I like the look of the stripes all the way down. I am swapping out the tail lights for the Raxiom one's I just got from American Muscle however.
